What to Expect...
We'll meet talk over and assess your situation, create therapy goals and decide on a plan. It's ok for you not to know what you need or for things to change as they often do in the course of therapy we would review every six weeks. Our therapy may be longer term or time limited depending on what seems necessary.

My integrative training allows for plenty of choice about techniques to approach your struggles at your own pace to achieve the results you are hoping for. I commonly use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy to help you rethink, distance yourself from and choose alternatives to unhelpful thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I also use psychodynamic techniques to look at the root cause of issues and Gestalt Therapy and Transactional Analysis to explore how these play out in your current life and relationships. I can provide you with therapeutic tools you can take away with you to further your progress between our sessions.
I practice Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) which was created by Clinical Psychologist Roger Callahan and is an emotional version of acupuncture you can do on yourself in therapy & at home to release emotional distress and trauma from the mind and body. EFT is starting to be used by medical professionals in the UK.
I specialise in relationships at home and work and other issues such as depression, anxiety, bereavement and identity (LGBT, cultural or spiritual). I also work with those suffering from and affected by Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, people facing the challenges of Expat life, helping the Elderly adjust to a new phase in their life and frequent travellers needing flexible support.
